But I enjoyed these tireless hours of training because swimming gave me confidence. I had the ability to interact with peers from all over the world from different cultures, races, and religions through the means of a common "language". EF's mission coincides with that of the Beijing Games: "One World. One Dream". Both sports and English are powerful tools that have the unique capability to transcend differences between people. The Olympics captures this spirit and it is the same spirit that makes EF's support of the Beijing Olympic Games so fitting." Fisher stated, "As a token of our commitment and to support the development of English education in Hong Kong, we are delighted to donate HK$1.5 million worth of English courses to SFOCHK.
